The Dalai Lama Case.

Dalai Lama boy6th July 1935. A living God was born in Taktser, Amdo, Tibet as Lhamo Dhondup.
Later recognized as reincarnation of the 13th Dalai Lama Thubten Gyatso and named Tenzin Gyatso.

He describes himself as a simple Buddhist Monk.

These days there's going on a deep controversy. I can give it name: India-Dalai Lama-China controversy.

It's very usual that Chinese regime often resists the movement of the Holy Personality to disputed areas, but this time, it has not only summoned the Indian Embassy in Beijing but also gave very rough comments.
This all started with the ambition of China to take up the Tibetan region. The Lama never wanted to take Tibet away with himself but it is the misunderstanding of the Chinese which escalates the tension in the region.
China claims the Arunachal Pradesh state of India under (maybe) the One China policy but it has been an integral part of the Indian Union since the Shimla Accord which China don't recognize (at least these are the Chinese arguments). After the Chinese invasion in Tibet, the Dalai Lama had to leave for security purposes after assuming full political power of the region. Since then, he's been in India, he stayed in the Tawang then at the Birla House in Mussoorie then in at Swarg Ashram in Dharamsala. He visited many countries and released the draft democratic constitution for Tibet.

China claims him as separatist, the holy person who is Nobel Peace (1989) laureate. This month he visited again the Tawang. Met and hugged one of the soldiers who helped him while he was escaping from Tibet, gave teachings and blessed people. The atmosphere there was very spiritual.
Yet, tensions were escalating between China and India. China asked India before the Dalai Lama was to visit the Tawang that the visit of the "separatist" spiritual leader to the "conflicted" place would be harming to the bilateral relations of India-China. India took the decision to let the Dalai Lama visit; it was a very good decision I believe to counter (prevent) the Chinese influence.
The reaction - the Chinese politicians, their media and various others o'er there are condemning the cursing the step.

The problem for the Dalai Lama is not only limited to this, but, he's also worried about his successor, because that successor might be used by countries to fulfill their political requirements. Further, he gave a thought about declaring if the world even need another incarnation. The Tibetan Buddhists consider him as living god. The Dalai Lama also hinted that his successor might be a woman.

Both the countries take the Holy Lama as a political issue. But, the problem arises when there are misunderstandings between two nations. India and China are power countries now. They've a very good growth rate; and they can make even better use of it if they make their bilateral relations better and stronger, and not conflicting on baseless issues. Even the Dalai Lama has said that Tibet is a part of China and not a separate entity. Yet, these are misunderstandings which make tension in international relations.

I think it will require a calm mind like the holy Dalai Lama to tackle the conflicts between the nations.
